LOGGING IN FOR THE 1ST TIME
UPGRADE DETAILS OF NEW PRODUCTS
Debit Card: You should have received a new debit card with the Master Card logo (Gray in color for general use, Blue in color for any HSA account) in the mail mid-to-late April with detailed instructions, followed by your new PIN in a separate mailing. Your existing card. (Black & Gold) will no longer work after May 1. Your “new gray Master Card” will be automatically activated on May 2. If you would like to change your PIN number please contact our customer services department at 320-685-8611, or use the ATM located at our Cold Spring, MN facility. Select change PIN and follow prompts.
Internet Banking: On your first login after the upgrade beginning May 6, your user name will remain the same, but you will have to update your password. On your first login you will use a temporary password which will be a combination of your current user ID followed by the last four digits of your social security number. You will then be guided through the process to set up a new password. *(Unless: you have already logged into the new digital banking system using the above steps on or after May 6th using a different devise. If this is the case, you should use your new personal password set-up in that session.
Bill Pay: Bill Pay will be unavailable during the upgrade period. Any payments scheduled on or before May 2 will occur as scheduled. If you need any payments scheduled to occur May 2 through May 6, please be sure to schedule these payments prior to May 2. All payments and vendors currently established in the Bill Pay program will be transferred to the new system. Information that will not transfer to the new GCB Bill Pay system are; e-bill transfers, and any accounts that do not have a current payee listed.
Mobile Banking: A new and improved mobile app will be available for download after May 5. The new GCB Mobile App will be available for use on and after May 6. Please remember to delete the old GCB Mobile App from your mobile devices as it will be discontinued as of 12:00 noon on May 2. When using the new GCB Mobile App on your first login, you will use your current user ID and a temporary password which will be a combination of your current user ID followed by the last four digits of your social security number. *(Unless: you have already logged into the new digital banking system using the above steps, on or after May 6th, by using a PC, or other devise. If this is the case, you should use your new personal password set-up in that session.)
E-Statements: E-Statements that are currently available on your online banking account will not be accessible 12:00 noon on May 2 through May 6th. 24 months of transaction/statement history will be transferred or developed as time permits into the new E-Bank system.
Intuit aggregation: (Quicken and/or QuickBooks) services will be interrupted for up to 3-10 business days. The following services will not work during the outage:
- Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect
- QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Customers who have had previous connectivity with Intuit for downloading banking transactions will need to re-establish these links through the new GCB Digital Banking Platform. Intuit offers conversion guides to provide an easy transition for Intuit product users when the new online banking platform goes live on May 6. These instructions are written in a general way to cover as many conversion scenarios as possible.
